Why Mindfulness Courses

In its simplest form, mindfulness means awareness. Practising mindfulness offers a way to pay attention to the present moment, without judgement. … Mindfulness can help to improve work performance  by learning to harness and improve the quality of attention, Mindfulness increases the ability to become a better listener, this can reduce  conflict and improve communication in the workplace. Practicing Mindfulness can alleviate stress and anxiety and increase resilience, self compassion as well as emotional intelligence which all adds up to a much happier workplace.

What about group hypnotherapy?

Workplace stress can refer to experiences where the demands placed upon an individual exceeds their ability to cope.  This will vary from individual to individual and addressing workplace stress can require a holistic and flexible approach.  Despite an ever-increasing understanding of the health effects of workplace stress, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE 2016) report that the number of cases of stress in the workplace has remained broadly constant for the past decade.

Stress and anxiety are areas where hypnotherapy can be highly effective in generating positive and beneficial change. Cognitive mindfulness based approaches, such as  Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), enable a hypnotherapist to work with an individual or group to identify unhelpful thought processes and generate new, more helpful ways of thinking and responding.
